The SHSLSC officially opened on the 18 September 2016 by the City of Rockingham Mayor Barry Sammels and Her Excellency the Honourable Kerry Sanderson AC, Governor of Western Australia.. Secret Harbour SLSC is a volunteer based not-for-profit community service organisation and is the focal point for surf lifesaving and beach safety activities in the City of Rockingham. The club patrols from Long Point (in the north) to Golden Bay making it one of Australia's longest patrolled stretches of coastline.It provides an essential educational and emergency rescue service to all.
